The artist owner of Heather Candles, Heather Mull has been in business for over 40 years and is well known for her unique line of quality and beautifully handcrafted candles.

Heather has proudly designed the artistic selection of floral and wildlife candles. Heather was an art major at the University of California at Berkeley in the early 1960s. After exploring many different art mediums, she began her candle career in the mid-1970s in California. In the early 1980s, Heather relocated her business to Montana and expanded her line of candles to include many floral, wildlife and custom candle designs for all occasions.

Most of the flowers, leaves and grasses for Heather Candles are grown on the grounds of the studio, encompassing large raised beds of wildflowers, pansies, trees and shrubs chosen for their colorful contributions to the designs of these candles and holiday candles. Fall leaves are collected at the peak of their fall color.

Heather, and avid outdoor person, pays especial attention to the essence of nature in her designs. Simulating the natural surroundings of the wildlife imaged on the candles and arranging the flora in a natural, lyrical way are the goals and accomplishments of Heather Candles designs-each candle being a unique work of art and one of a kind. Her wildlife designs have been created by Heather, and the 'Mountain Wildlife' candles incorporate a hand painted background requiring several subtle stages of color to create a softly glowing sihlouetted mountain background when the candles are lit.
